Christmas Celebrations

December is the month of joy and merry as the spirit of Christmas is everywhere. Against the well decorated school campus, Carmel celebrated the eve of Christmas with great zeal and vigor. A Carol Singing Competition for classes 1 to 12 was organized on 23rddec. The soft sounds of carol permeated the air, creating a heavenly ambience, spreading the radiance of Christmas everywhere. Similarly on 24th dec, the whole of the campus became more adorned. Christmas celebrations began on the theme “A light is sparked”. All the Carmelites participated enthusiastically in making this event a success. The little angles of pre-primary classes presented beautiful dances on the occasion. To mark the birth of Prince of Peace, the students performed a Christmas play on the topic “Christmas to believe in” The school Choir presented a melodious song. The programme has an ISA Activity also, which included songs and dances of the countries like India, Spain and Australia. The occasion was also graced by the School Principal Sr. Maria Swati A.C and the school Manager Fr. Chacko. Finally this big day came to a conclusion with the prayer service, Staff get together and the cake cutting ceremony, followed by a lunch. With this the whole Carmel Family celebrated Christmas and prayed for the well being of the whole humanity
