Carmel bids farewell to its seniors in a fun-filled Farewell party organized in the school. “Fly High..... The Sky Is the Limit” was the apt theme for the Outgoing Silver Jubilee Batch 2020, to make them proceed further and fly high to achieve their dreams and desires. Years ago these Students entered the campus as raw individuals and presently they stand as smart and empowered women who are ready to face the world.
Whenever goodbyes arrive, it often becomes nostalgic to draw on the vast eloquence of the past. In times of such changes, it can be hard to find the words to express the strong emotions one feels but the class 11 students left no stone unturned to make this occasion a memorable one for their seniors. They welcomed their seniors on the vibrant beats of Punjabi dances. The out-going students came all the way dressed in beautiful traditional Indian Attires to mark their emotional journey of the preceding 12 years at Carmel.
Father Chacko, honourable Manager of school graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with School Principal Sr. Maria Swati. The Program started with a prayer service. The outgoing Students and the School Pupil Leaders lighted the lamp to dispel darkness and invoke the blessings of God. The program also comprised of speeches, dances, songs, music, thoughtfully and lovingly arranged by students of class 11th
Sr.Swati addressed the students by giving them valuable tips on how to face pressure during examination with self- confidence, and assurance. The program concluded with Good-Bye Gifts and specially designed Silver Jubilee Mugs presented to the students as a Souvenir by Fr. Chacko and Sr. Swati.
A lunch organised by the 11th class students was relished by all. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments. The students enjoyed a lot and departed from school with heavy hearts. Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia, fun, and excitement.
