E-Learning is part of 21st Century education. To meet the challenges of present day scenario and to tap the opportunities in technology, Carmel upgraded all its classrooms to smart classes at the start of the academic session in 2017. The smart boards and content by Tata ClassEdgeTM has opened new ways of teaching and learning for teachers and students alike. Ever since the upgrade, there has been a positive feedback on the learning experience from all stakeholders as they are able to experience audio-visual learning within the classroom under the guidance of the teacher. Multimedia content, worksheets, games, activities and simulations enhance this learning experience.
School has a rich library arranged in a large room with a spacious reading room annexed to it. The library has a good number of reference books for all subjects in addition to nearly 8000 books for general reading. Short versions of books on various subjects are compiled in the library to enable students to complete reading one book in the period allotted for library. News papers and periodicals give a good touch on current affairs.
The institution is in possession of a fully equipped and separate laboratories for all branches of science including IT, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Language lab that provide elaborate arrangements for students to do experiments at their own. The IT lab has enough computer sets for all the students to get hands on operational practice.
Being true to its motto - Belief Enhances Life - facility for meditation and prayer form the very essence of life at Carmel. This positive space has led large number of teachers and students to find time for meditation in school. Calm and soothing atmosphere of the meditation room guides the teachers and students to be with themselves and experience the inner peace. This in turn, helps them to rejuvenate and better themselves in everyday life.
Carmel is striving towards faster processing of documents, information sharing and communication; above all to lessen the usage of paper wherever possible. Therefore we have a customised software solutions for the parents.
The school has a well equipped Health Room, which is monitored by a trained nurse. This helps the students to recoup from minor ailments without having the parents called in. Besides this, the school has a tie-up with JK Medicity to refer all emergency cases that surface during the day. St Joseph's Community Hospital at Smailpur has been roped in for period health check up for the students in dental, ENT and eye.

We at Carmel believe that the theoretical knowledge is enhanced when a co-curricular activity related to the content taught, is organised. Intellectual development of the personality is achieved to a great extent, in the classroom itself. But, the aesthetic development like character building, spiritual and moral values, physical growth, creativity and many more are backed up by co-curricular activity only. They teach the students to stand up for their rights and render in them values like- Educational, Psychological, Social, Cultural and Recreational etc.
Physical fitness is one of the main areas of focus at Carmel. Towards this the school has a spacious playground that allows the students choose their favourite sport. The games offered are Basket ball, Net Ball, Cricket, Kabaddi, Soft ball, Badminton, Kho-Kho etc.
