Farewell to the Class of 2019.

30th January, 2019 was a red letter day as Carmel Convent Hr. Sec School, Kunjwani bid a fond farewell to the first outgoing class XII batch of 2018-19. The ‘D-day’ was devoted to reminisce eventful moments of the years spent together with friends and teachers. The Carmelites along with their parents were welcomed and led to the hall accompanied by the school band.
The students of Class XI put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, entertaining skits, melodious songs and pulsating music that rocked the gathering.The prime attraction of the evening was MISS CARMEL PAGEANT 2019, in which all the 82 promising Carmelites from class XII competed against each other. The winner of the coveted title was Aatiqua Malik and she was crowned as “Ms. Carmel”. The students enjoyed a sumptuous lunch as well as the extravaganza cultural treat. The outgoing students were filled with nostalgia as they recalled their happy memories of 14 long years in the school. The students received the Class Photograph and a book ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’ as a token of love from Carmel.
Principal, Sr. Maria Swati A.C. applauded the batch in unassuming ways for their leadership, adjustment and compassion. She appreciated their efforts for taking up every challenge and participating innovative competitions, raising the bar of perfection every single time. Highlighting the theme “You are sent forth to be the light”, Sr. Swati encouraged the girls to follow their passion and pursue their dreams.
The School Manager Rev. Fr. Shaiju Chacko extended his good wishes to the girls for a bright, successful and prosperous future and gave valuable tips to students on how to fare the Exams with confidence and self assurance. He blessed them and asked them to make a difference in the world outside, carrying forth the school motto of ‘Belief Enhances Life’. The programme concluded with the school song.
